New GP of the Americas MotoGP grid after two penalties

Two riders, including the MotoGP championship leader, were penalised after qualifying for the Grand Prix of the Americas.
Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi and Honda rider Luca Marini were handed two-place grid penalties for Sunday's race after a spate of investigations into impeding.
Ai Ogura and Marc Marquez have kept their original grid positions following a closer look at their incidents.
The grid will remain as per qualifying order for the Saturday sprint - with the penalties applied only for the main race.
GP of the Americas provisional grid
1 Di Giannantonio 2 Acosta 3 Bagnaia
4 Bezzecchi 5 Mir 6 M Marquez
7 Martin 8 A Marquez 9 Aldeguer
10 Ogura 11 Marini 12 Bastianini
13 Fernandez 14 Moreira 15 Zarco
16 Quartararo 17 Razgatlioglu 18 Binder
19 Miller 20 Morbidelli 21 Rins
Bezzecchi and Marini were both found to have impeded Marquez on the initial run in Q2 as the Ducati rider approached the braking zone on the back straight - and was compromised by the bikes ahead.
Bezzecchi shifted his line in front of him and Marini - also on a slower lap - took the corner as normal, so was also deemed to have made an insufficient effort to ease Marquez's path through.
Marquez's own run-in with Enea Bastianini later in the session was seen as not rising to the level of a penalty.
The Race understands the stewards felt Marquez had left Bastianini enough room on the racing line - but that he was told off for doing so with an insufficient warning, and that he would be in line for a penalty in case of a repeat.
