Formula E joins Formula Legends as first official racing series

Formula E will become the first official racing series to appear in the Formula Legends title when a special DLC expansion pack featuring the electric championship is released later this month.
All of the current official teams and drivers from Formula E will feature in the release, which goes live on April 30 for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, with a Nintendo Switch update coming later.
And in keeping with Formula Legends' wealth of historical racing content, all generations of Formula E car will be included, so players can experience the series' evolution from its original Gen1 car all the way through to the current Gen3 Evo machine.

The 'Formula E: Electric Revolution' DLC also includes six official Formula E tracks: Berlin, Tokyo, London, São Paulo, Miami, and Shanghai.
As well as featuring official cars, teams, drivers and circuits, new gameplay features have been added to recreate the style of Formula E racing. Not only will players have to manage battery life from start to finish, but the series' unique 'Attack Mode' is included, where drivers can activate an increase in power by driving off the racing line at a specific part of the circuit.
The upcoming Formula E update is the latest in a series content additions produced by game developer 3D Clouds since Formula Legends was first released.
Other DLCs have added more tracks loosely based on famous F1 circuits, plus several generations of cars, meaning the game now allows players to race in eras all the way from the 1950s to the present day with a 2026-style "late '20s" grid of cars.
The game was relatively well-received when it launched in 2025, and developers were quick to introduce an alternative handling model after early criticism that the cars were not responsive enough originally.
