Tom Ingram (Team VERTU) stood victorious in Round 1 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park ahead of Mikey Doble (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing) and Ash Sutton (NAPA Racing UK), who started from 21st on the grid.

Ingram's triumph was made all the more impressive, having started on the medium tyre surrounded by soft tyre runners. Polesitter Daniel Rowbottom would fall to fourth on the opening lap and would later receive a 10-second time penalty for repeated track limit offences dropping the #32 down to 12th place.
