Brands Hatch set the scene for the second BTCC weekend of the year, showcasing three spectacular races plus another thrilling Qualifying Race, to continue the impressive start to the campaign.

As the 2026 season takes full flight, take a listen to the second instalment of Tin Top Tuesday powered by Power Maxed, which was aired earlier this week (Tuesday, 12 May).

The podcast opened with Ash Sutton (NAPA Racing UK), who reflected on his weekend at Brands Hatch after the #116 extended his championship lead to 47 points.

Adam Weaver (Team Owner, Power Maxed Racing) was the next guest on the show, speaking on the team’s weekend after Mikey Doble (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing) headlined the event with a podium in Round 6, sitting third in the drivers’ standings.

Alan Hyde caught up with Árón Taylor-Smith (Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport) after taking his first victory in a decade in wet weather on dry tyres. James Dorlin (Restart Racing) also joined the show as the Yorkshireman spent his weekend on a recovery mission after an engine change following the sole practice session.
