Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm Shop is supplying the Alpine Formula 1 team at this year's British Grand Prix.

The farm shop has gained considerable fame due to the Amazon Prime show, Clarkson's Farm, in which the former Top Gear presenter attempts to run a farm - situated six miles from Alpine's Enstone factory - and sell his produce.

The TV presenter has previously shipped crates of his Hawkstone beer to Alpine to celebrate its Monaco 2023 and Brazil 2024 podiums.

Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan, who appears on Clarkson's Farm, said: "The British Grand Prix is one of the highlights on the British sporting calendar so to have Diddly Squat Farm Shop associated, and to play a small role, with the team this weekend is certainly quite special."

The team has said that Alpine drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto "will eat some authentic British dishes" at Silverstone. Meanwhile Gasly has appeared in a social media post, picking up some produce from the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

"It's great that we are able to help promote British farming and highlight the importance of farming to the local area," said Alpine managing director Steve Nielsen.

"Our base at Enstone is surrounded by farms so we are well aware and full of admiration for what farmers do in bringing food to our tables. It's a special occasion to bring local food to Silverstone to keep our team and drivers well fed this weekend so thanks to Jeremy and the team at Diddly Squat Farm for their on-going support."
