<h3 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center"><strong>Live BTCC coverage and extensive highlights to continue</strong> <strong>until at least 2030</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>TOCA – organiser of the British Touring Car Championship – has today (21 July) announced a new three-year television agreement with ITV, extending its UK free-to-air broadcast partnership through to at least the end of the 2029 season.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new contract commences in 2027 and sees ITV continue to broadcast the BTCC live, free-to-air on ITV4, plus its on-demand streaming service ITVX, providing some seven hours of live coverage from each race day.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Every Saturday qualifying session will also continue to be shown live online via the ITV YouTube channel, giving access to fans worldwide. Extensive highlights will also remain across ITV4, ITVX and (when schedules permit) ITV1, with all main race day and highlights programming available on-demand via ITVX.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Introduced in 2025, the all-day live race-day coverage will continue worldwide via the BTCC YouTube channel, excluding the UK and North America which have live broadcast agreements. The BTCC will also share additional video content online, including ‘as live’ race clips being posted across social media.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This latest agreement represents one of the most significant free-to-air BTCC broadcast packages on record. In total, the championship will boast more than 400 hours of coverage per season across the ITV Network contract and the BTCC’s YouTube channel.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ITV has aired the UK’s premier and most prestigious motorsport championship since 2002, and this latest extension will take the partnership to an astonishing 27 successive years – ensuring this relationship remains one of the longest, and strongest, in UK television and British sporting history.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The BTCC’s popular support series will also continue to receive the same live coverage and their own dedicated highlights programming across the ITV network.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In summary, this new agreement provides the same level of free-to-air ‘all day live’ coverage, including all highlights and on-demand programmes, on the same channels as present, including</p>

<li>10 x 90min BTCC highlights programmes</li>

<li>34 x 60min support race highlights</li>

<li>UK and global live streaming of BTCC qualifying via YouTube</li>

<li>Global live-streaming of the full race-day on YouTube (outside of the UK/North America)</li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Specifically:</p>
