Bezzecchi leads Ducatis in Aragon practice, Zarco shines

MotoGP title hopeful Marco Bezzecchi bested a quartet of Ducatis in the second Friday practice session at Aragon, as Johann Zarco made an immediate impact on his injury return.
Sidelined since the Barcelona race in May, Zarco marked his first day back in MotoGP with a place in the top 10, securing Q2 passage at the last moment of the hour-long practice session - at the expense of LCR team-mate Diogo Moreira.
He was the only Honda representative in a Ducati/Aprilia-dominated top 10.
Aprilia rider Bezzecchi beat the Marquez brothers in the late dash for a laptime, his 1m45.455s outpacing Alex Marquez by 0.010s and Marc Marquez by 0.038s.
Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati) and Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati) made it four Desmosedicis in the top five, ahead of the Aprilias of Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse) and Jorge Martin.
Pedro Acosta was again the top KTM by a long way (nine tenths), and grabbed a Q2 spot, while Di Giannantonio's team-mate Franco Morbidelli used his team-mate as reference to also end up in the top 10.
Pecco Bagnaia was the only Ducati rider missing from the top 10, his late bid for a Q2-worthy laptime coming up short as he botched the entry into the penultimate corner, Turn 16.
